I’m Cait, a wedding and portrait photographer based in the Western Mountains of Maine. I spend my days chasing soft golden light, photographing real emotion, and celebrating the kind of love stories that feel like home. From the quiet pines of Eustis to the peaks of Sugarloaf Mountain, the lakes of Rangeley, and the wild trails of Carrabassett Valley, this corner of Maine has shaped my heart — and the way I see the world through my lens.

My work blends true-to-life colors, bold feelings, and a warm, laid-back experience. Caitlin photographed our wedding back in August 2024 in Rangeley, Maine at Mountain Star Estate. She was so easy to work with and was very down to earth. She made me feel relaxed and joked with me while I was getting ready that day. She felt like a friend throughout the process of planning and on the day I worked with her. She meticulously gathered information about my "vision" ahead of time and wanted to know who I was as a person before shooting my wedding. She knew exactly what I wanted despite me not even knowing what I truly wanted. She brought her daughter, Violet, along as an apprentice who did an amazing job and who actually photographed more than I had asked for - this was incredible because I got to look back on that day (I felt I was barely present for some of it as I'm sure occurs with most brides) and relive moments I either didn't remember or moments my guests shared. Her attention to detail and captures were extraordinary. I have my favorite photos now blown up and hanging throughout my home, they make me so happy every day. She went above and beyond and sent my husband and I a personal gift after the wedding for Christmas of hard copies of photos, magnets and a memory box. Months after our wedding, opening this thoughtful gift made us stop and remember our special day again and reflect on how amazing Caitlin and Violet were.
